I am Polina Tambourov, a U.S.-licensed lawyer and Paris expat.

After navigating the French rental maze myself, I founded Paris Lease Check to give others the support I wish I had — real guidance, clarity, and peace of mind through a confusing process.

I combine legal precision with a personal, hands-on approach. I walk you through every clause, explain what is fair and what is not, and make sure you feel confident and protected before you sign.

Pre-Lease Consultation • €50

Perfect before you start your apartment search. I help you prepare your paperwork, find reputable listings, and choose a neighborhood that fits your lifestyle and needs while showing you how to avoid common scams.

Lease Review • €150

You have found your apartment. Now let us make sure your contract is fair. I review and annotate your lease, explain every clause in plain English, and flag any illegal or risky terms.

Lease + Negotiation • €200

Includes your full lease review plus personal guidance on renegotiating or clarifying terms with your landlord. You get suggested language and strategies to protect your interests calmly and confidently.

Expat Protection • €300

All of the above plus six months of post move in support. I am there for you if something breaks, if a defect appears, or if you need help communicating with your landlord.

3. We talk it through together

During our call, I walk you through everything you need to know, your rights, key clauses, and what to negotiate if needed. You leave the call feeling calm, informed, and ready to sign with confidence.

4. Optional ongoing support

For clients who choose the Expat Protection package, I am a message away for six months after move in for questions, landlord issues, or unexpected surprises.
